Uniquely designed and hand crafted for couples or families, our two exclusive bespoke cabins offer fully equipped modern living, iconic Scandi interior and floor-to-ceiling windows with beautifully framed views to the countryside beyond.
Thoughtfully Designed Spaces
Each retreat features a spacious double height open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with a mezzanine king size bed, cosy den/secret cinema, and a luxury bathroom. The flexibly designed spaces offer further sleeping on Japanese tatami beds in the den. With both a wood burning stove and the warmth of underfloor heating, comfort is guaranteed in any season. The porch area ensures a separation between the inside and outside whatever weather you encounter, and specially designed storage preserves the uncluttered simplicity of the Scandi ethos.
Nature At Your Doorstep
Relaxing in the private wood fired hot tub under the dancing shadows of tree branches by day or peeping at the glistening stars by night is a perfect way to unwind. Or nestle into the hammock with a good book, music or for a simple snooze under the warmth of the sun.
The outdoor space includes a dedicated covered area where you can cook up a feast on the BBQ or get creative with your pizzas cooked to perfection in the Ooni pizza oven whatever the weather!
Embrace Slow Living
This is deliberately slow living – a chance to unwind and immerse in the balm that nature has to offer our wellbeing. Fire up the indoor log burner and bask in the joyous warmth as it fills the cabin space. Sizzle up a tasty feast or roast marshmallows on the BBQ. Prepare pizza dough and feel the simple excitement of it rising to a sturdy base for a delicious pizza cooked in the Ooni pizza oven. Take time to watch the squirrels barrel through the trees, chasing each other mischievously, or locate the woodpecker as it tap-taps on a neighbouring tree. Feel the freedom of the red kite as it soars in the sky above, or the soothing rustle of the leaves in the gentle breeze. Escape the pace of modern life for a restful recharge as nature intended.
A Sense Of Place
Surrounded by ancient woodland, wildflowers and horse paddocks, atop the Orcop Hill basin, our cabins nestle seamlessly into their ten acre arcadian Herefordshire haven, only a mile from the border with Wales. Gainsborough greets the dawn to the East over the Malvern Hills of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire’s highest point of May Hill. Fifinella salutes the setting sun to the West as it sinks below the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons of Powys, in the shadow of Garway Hill.
